Sa Bum Nim (Chief Instructor) Daniel Perez of North Coast Wae Yu Nae Gong began his martial arts traning at the age of seven in Los Angeles California. In 1992 he opened his first dojang in Arcata California in order to share his martial arts experience with members of the Northern California community. His dojang opened in a relatively small building in downtown Arcata, and has since moved to its much larger current location in Sunny Brae.
